Covid-19 – Analysis of the FIDIC provisions, perspectives from the Parties and how to resolve disputes

On 30 January 2020, the outbreak of coronavirus was declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. On 11 February 2020, the World Health Organization (‘WHO’) announced a name for the new coronavirus disease: Covid-19. On 11 March 2020, the WHO declared Covid-19 a pandemic. The WHO defines a pandemic as a worldwide spread of a new disease.
ACEG is hosting an event to examine the difficulties that all parties to construction contracts are now facing concerning the pandemic.
The session will be split into three parts:
1) presentations from our expert speakers,
2) an invitation to the participants to share their experiences,
3) Q&A.
